How to Rob a Bank: Exclusive Sneak Peek at Nicholas Hoult’s Heist Movie | IGN Fall Fan Fest 2026
Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming heist film “How to Rob a Bank” received a sneak peek presentation at IGN Fall Fan Fest 2026. The movie stars Nicholas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz, Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz, Christian Slater, Pete Davidson, and John C. Reilly in a story centered on a masked criminal gang whose viral YouTube heist videos attract law enforcement attention.
Directed by David Leitch, the film frames its protagonists as “Modern-day Robin Hoods, taking from the rich and giving to poor,” emphasizing their motivation to fight greed and corruption rather than pursuing crime for personal gain. The gang’s use of social media to broadcast their heists forms a central narrative element, exploring contemporary themes of internet virality and fame.
The story follows the escalating tension between the criminals’ online notoriety and their inevitable confrontation with law enforcement, combining high-impact action sequences with socially conscious storytelling.
