12AM Blackout announced Jiaohun, a first-person psychological horror game drawing from Chinese folktales, at IGN’s Fall Fan Fest 2026. Set in 1999 in Fairy Town, Baishoi County, China, the game explores obsession through environmental puzzles and exploration amid abandoned buildings. Players encounter demons, secrets, and a nameless god alongside unsettling visuals including hands with eyes and masked figures.
The game’s atmosphere is enhanced by period-specific details, including 1990s-style pagers as in-game artifacts. Jiaohun launches on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in 2027, with wishlists available now on Steam.
