K/DA Will Make Long-Awaited Return on October 20

K/DA, the virtual K-pop group from League of Legends, is officially returning on October 20, 2026, marking the group’s first major release in six years. The four-member ensemble—comprised of champions Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa—originally debuted in 2019 with the smash hit “POP/STARS,” which has accumulated over 435 million Spotify streams and 668 million YouTube views.

The comeback arrives amid renewed interest in the IP following the critical success of Netflix’s animated film “KPop Demon Hunters,” which drew creative inspiration from K/DA’s concept. The group’s last major release was the ALL OUT EP six years prior, making this new material eagerly anticipated by their fanbase.

The October 20 release will feature a brand-new single accompanied by an animated music video produced by Fortiche Studios, the animation house renowned for League of Legends’ acclaimed Arcane series. Riot Games will simultaneously release “Firestarter” League of Legends cosmetic skins timed with the music video premiere.

The announcement has already resonated within the creative community, with both Fortiche Productions and concept artist Adrien Genilier acknowledging the leaked project details.
