Metro 2039 Dev Puts PS5 Pre-Orders Live and Confirms DLC
4A Games has made Metro 2039 available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store, revealing the game’s pricing structure and edition options.
The base version of Metro 2039 will cost £59.99 / $69.99, aligning with standard pricing for current-generation AAA releases. A Deluxe Edition is also available, priced £25 / $30 higher than the standard edition. The Deluxe Edition bundles several additional items: a digital art book, digital soundtrack, a Specialist Pack with early item unlocks, and crucially, access to a post-launch story expansion.
The confirmation of post-launch DLC represents 4A Games’ commitment to supporting the title after release with additional narrative content. The Specialist Pack included in the Deluxe Edition offers early access to in-game items, suggesting the game will feature progression systems or cosmetic items that players can obtain through purchase or gameplay.
