Wardogs Season 2 launches on October 15, 2026, bringing substantial new content to the early-access FPS. Developed by Bulkhead, the update introduces four new weapons and four new vehicles, alongside fresh buildable structures and a rain weather preset. The patch also includes extensive gameplay rebalancing, with changes across combat mechanics, progression systems, construction, and the in-game economy.
The Season 2 release arrives approximately one month after Wardogs’ early access launch, during which the game achieved peak concurrent player counts near 500,000. Although current player numbers have since declined from that peak, the game maintains a healthy active community. Bulkhead has earned strong community trust through transparency and open communication regarding development decisions and patch notes, a relationship the developer hopes Season 2 will further strengthen.
