Devious Arc Raiders Griefers Are Having Fun in PvE, Camping Locked Loot Rooms and Pulling Enemy Robots Into Extraction Points
Arc Raiders’ newly launched PvE mode, designed to offer a cooperative experience without player-versus-player combat, is being exploited by griefers who are finding ways to harm other players despite the mode’s intended safety. Players are using various griefing tactics including the Bull Rush ability to bash into teammates attempting to extract, forcing them to die to AI enemies and allowing the griefers to loot their bodies without risk of retaliation.
The exploitation extends beyond simple blocking, with griefers manipulating AI enemies and using game tools to place other players in dangerous situations. Videos documenting these griefing tactics have already begun circulating online, highlighting how the relative safety of PvE—where other players’ weapons deal no friendly fire damage—creates an environment where bad actors can cause harm through alternative means. This undermines the core purpose of the PvE mode, which was intended to provide a cooperative alternative to the unpredictable nature of Arc Raiders’ PvP encounters.
