Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave gets its first wave of DLC today, and an expansion pass to include it
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, released in September 2026 to critical and commercial acclaim, is receiving post-launch content through an expansion pass now available on the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems announced the expansion pass priced at $34.99 (£29.99), containing multiple waves of DLC scheduled through 2027.
The expansion pass is divided into three parts. The first wave, available now, introduces four new weapons for players to use within the game. The DLC also addresses one of the game’s most controversial changes, offering a fix through the post-launch content. The second wave arrives during the holiday season and includes additional outfits for the game’s cast, while the third and final wave is planned for 2027.
Beyond cosmetics and weapons, the expansion pass notably includes additional story routes, providing new narrative content for players who have completed the base game. The announcement was made through a surprise shadow drop, with the expansion pass representing a significant post-launch content roadmap for the tactical RPG.
