Call Of Duty: MW4 Is Not On Xbox Game Pass, But Here’s When You Can Expect It
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass at its October 23 launch, Activision confirmed in a recent blog post. The game will instead require an upfront purchase, starting at $70 for the standard edition and reaching $100 for the Vault edition. Campaign early access begins October 16, ahead of the full release.
While this news may not surprise those who have followed pre-release coverage, Activision has been actively reminding players of this decision for months. The publisher’s latest blog post serves as a final reminder before the game’s launch window begins.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will not need to wait indefinitely, however. According to Activision, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will eventually come to the service toward the end of 2027, approximately one year after launch. This timeline aligns with the broader strategy following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
