Game Changers Final to Take Place at Valorant Champions 2027
Riot Games has announced that the Valorant Game Changers Championship will conclude at Valorant Champions 2027, taking place in Austin, Texas. This marks a significant milestone for the premier esports competition dedicated to women and other marginalized genders in the Valorant ecosystem.
The conclusion at Valorant Champions 2027 represents a historic moment for the competition, as it will be the first time the Game Changers Championship moves beyond a studio environment. Previously, the championship has been held at dedicated esports venues: the 2025 championship took place at LoL Park in Seoul with a 450-seat capacity, and the 2026 championship is scheduled for Arena CBLOL in São Paulo with approximately 140 seats.
By bringing the Game Changers final to Valorant Champions 2027 in Austin, Riot Games is elevating the competition to its flagship esports event, providing increased exposure and resources for the women’s and marginalized gender esports community within Valorant.
