Amazon Casts Leads in Fourth Wing TV Series
Amazon has announced its lead casting for its television adaptation of Fourth Wing, the bestselling romantasy novel by Rebecca Yarros. Esther McGregor will play protagonist Violet Sorrengail, while Emilio Sakraya has been cast as Xaden Riorson, her love interest. The series follows Violet’s perspective as she navigates life in the Riders Quadrant at Basgiath War College, where she encounters Xaden—a character she initially believes wants her dead due to his father’s conflict with her mother. This dynamic sets up a classic enemies-to-lovers narrative arc, with the pair eventually developing romantic feelings for one another. The casting announcements have been highly anticipated by fans of the source material eager to see their favorite characters brought to the screen. The adaptation remains in early production stages.
