The Blood Of Dawnwalker’s Next Update Will Let You Erase Your Mistakes And Pet The Dog
Rebel Wolves is releasing patch 1.1 for The Blood of Dawnwalker next week, bringing over 1,100 improvements and fixes to the vampire RPG. The major update introduces the ability to pet dogs and cats using the game’s directional combat system—allowing players to interact with animals using the same controls employed for directional attacks and defense during combat.
The patch also introduces the Draught of Mind Rebirth, a consumable item that allows players to reset and relearn their acquired skills and abilities across different disciplines. This provides flexibility for experimenting with alternative character builds. Additionally, the update expands difficulty options with a new easier Story difficulty featuring extra combat assistance, while the existing Story mode will be renamed “Forgiving.” Enhanced subtitle settings across all dialogue lines improve accessibility for players.
The Blood of Dawnwalker, already recognized as one of the year’s best RPGs, receives these substantial quality-of-life and gameplay improvements following director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz’s September announcement of a major content pass. The comprehensive update represents significant polish and expanded player agency for the increasingly popular vampire-themed RPG.
