Game Republic New Horizons 2026 attendance grew 76% to over 461 visitors
Game Republic New Horizons 2026, held at Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough from October 14-16, saw significant growth in both attendance and business activity. The conference attracted 461 visitors, representing a 78% increase from the previous year’s 259 attendees, with over 100 travelers from across the UK including London and the South East.
The event drew international participants from ten countries, including Denmark, Sweden, Finland, China, Italy, Japan, Canada, the United States, France, and the Netherlands. This global attendance reflects the conference’s growing importance as an industry gathering.
A key metric of the conference’s success was the dramatic increase in business meetings facilitated through the MeetToMatch platform, which more than doubled from 100 to 257 meetings. These sessions connected developers, publishers, studios, entrepreneurs, and investors, providing networking opportunities for professionals across the gaming sector.
Nintendo contributed to the event by hosting a dedicated breakfast session for developers, underscoring the company’s engagement with the independent and mid-tier development community. The growth in attendance and structured business connections suggests Game Republic New Horizons has established itself as an important hub for gaming industry networking and investment opportunities.
