Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 announces four additional pavilions from Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and the US

Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 has announced four additional country pavilions, expanding its international representation to what organizers describe as the “most international line-up in the show’s history.” The newly announced pavilions will be hosted by Indonesia’s Ministry of Creative Economy, Japan’s JETRO, Malaysia’s Digital Economy Corporation, and the US Embassy in Bangkok.

These four additions bring the total number of pavilions to 20, representing 12 different markets across Asia, Europe, and North America. The expanded lineup joins previously confirmed pavilions from Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain, and host nation Thailand.

The 2026 edition will represent 29 countries and regions in total, marking significant growth in the event’s international participation. South Korea’s presence is particularly notable, with the country bringing six separate delegations led by KOCCA and regional agencies from major gaming hubs Busan and Daejeon.

The expansion reflects growing recognition of Southeast Asia’s importance in the global gaming industry, with Thailand hosting one of Asia’s largest game industry showcases. The diverse range of participating nations—from major gaming markets like Japan and South Korea to emerging regions in Southeast Asia—underscores the event’s role in connecting international developers, publishers, and industry professionals.

The additional pavilions are expected to provide increased networking opportunities and market access for game developers and companies, while showcasing each nation’s gaming industry strengths on an international stage.
