Here’s Our First Look at Dark Link in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake
Nintendo has released two new promotional trailers for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive launching in a few weeks. The trailers provide the first official look at Dark Link, a returning antagonist and character that appears throughout the Zelda series.
In one of the trailers, Dark Link briefly appears around the 15-second mark, performing a combat move against Link. The trailers showcase various elements of the game, including Ganondorf playing his large piano, Link on a pirate ship, and Link engaged in combat with enemies throughout dungeons. A second trailer, released on Nintendo’s Japanese YouTube account, focuses on other iconic elements including the ocarina instrument, the Master Sword, and exploration of Hyrule.
These promotional videos come as Nintendo continues to reveal details about the remake ahead of its launch. Previous coverage has highlighted extensive changes and redesigns compared to the original 1998 N64 version, including redesigned puzzles, updated miniboss encounters, and deeper dialogue options. The trailers suggest Nintendo is still keeping surprises in store for players as the release date approaches.
