Pokémon Pokopia is running a limited-time Halloween event titled “Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises” from October 17th through November 1st. The event introduces two Generation 6 Ghost-type Pokémon to the game, expanding the roster of creatures available for players to discover and collect during the seasonal celebration.
Following the established format of previous Pokopia limited-time events, the new Pokémon Pumpkaboo visits a Pokémon Center where players can interact with it. However, this Halloween-themed event introduces a spooky twist to the familiar formula. Instead of traditional currency exchanges, players must scare their resident Pokémon to obtain Pumpkin Candy, the event’s unique seasonal currency. This mechanic adds an interactive gameplay element that thematically ties in with the Halloween setting.
Once players have collected Pumpkin Candy through scaring their Pokémon, they can exchange this currency with Pumpkaboo for various items.
