Team Vitality’s Paris HQ Looted and Trashed During Riots
Paris has been gripped by significant civil unrest and widespread rioting over the past several days. On October 17, Team Vitality’s headquarters in Paris fell victim to the broader riots, with the facility broken into, looted, and substantially damaged.
According to social media footage circulating online, looters stole gaming equipment and components from the premises. Videos show rioters systematically dismantling gaming PCs and extracting valuable components, which they carried away. Most notably, the thieves made off with Team Vitality’s Counter-Strike 2 championship trophies, marking a significant loss for the esports organization. Following the theft, some of these stolen items—including the prestigious trophies—have been listed for sale on online marketplaces such as eBay.
The incident represents another casualty of the escalating civil unrest gripping the Paris region, as Team Vitality joins numerous other businesses and residences that have become targets during the disturbances. The organization is primarily known for its competitive Counter-Strike 2 team, making the loss of these trophies particularly significant within the esports community.
