Future of ARC Raiders PvE Will Be Revealed in November

Embark Studios has removed all Player-Versus-Environment (PvE) content from its live-service shooter ARC Raiders following a limited-time test period. The test proved remarkably successful in engagement metrics, with players completing 30 million rounds within a single week. However, Embark Studios described the mode as “polarizing,” indicating mixed player reception despite the substantial engagement numbers.

The studio plans to comprehensively analyze all collected data before deciding the mode’s future. Additionally, Embark will conduct a survey targeting a representative sample of the ARC Raiders player base to gather qualitative feedback on player preferences. The company has committed to revealing the final decision on PvE content in November.

The removal leaves PvE-focused players uncertain whether the mode will return as a permanent feature. The substantial play data and upcoming survey indicate Embark is taking community response seriously. This data-driven approach suggests the studio’s commitment to making an informed decision about whether PvE aligns with the game’s long-term vision.
