I have neither the budget nor the inclination for a crystal encrusted RTX 5090, but Galax is releasing one anyway

Nvidia’s RTX 5090 GPU remains in short supply as rumors and pricing concerns continue to plague the highly sought-after graphics card. While Nvidia has stated the RTX 5090 is not being discontinued, supply constraints and inflated pricing have made it difficult for consumers to obtain.

In response to this scarcity, Galax—the hardware division of Palit—has announced a luxury edition of the RTX 5090. The GeForce RTX 5090 Hall of Fame Edition features an elaborate design that sets it apart from standard models. Originally teased at Computex, observers initially believed the special edition signaled an entirely new GPU generation, but it has now been confirmed as a current-generation variant.

The Hall of Fame Edition’s most distinctive feature is its GPU shroud encrusted with Swarovski crystals, adding a premium aesthetic to the already high-end graphics card. This special edition represents Galax’s strategy to differentiate its RTX 5090 offering amid ongoing supply constraints that continue to make all variants of the card difficult to obtain.
