It Looks Like GTA 6’s Beer Brands Are About to Become Real
Rockstar Games is expanding the Grand Theft Auto 6 universe beyond the digital realm, with labels for three in-game beer brands approved for real-world production. The U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has authorized labels for Patriot Beer and Pißwasser (Pisswasser), fictional brands that have featured in previous GTA titles, as well as a new brand called No Mames Vice City, featuring distinctive branding including a sunglasses-wearing dog and Vice City chain imagery.
The beers will be produced by Tripping Animals Brewing, a Florida-based brewery, marking a notable venture into real consumer products for a video game franchise. This merchandise crossover represents Rockstar’s expansion of the GTA 6 brand beyond traditional gaming, bringing fictional elements directly into consumer culture. Such real-world product tie-ins are increasingly common among major gaming franchises, offering additional revenue streams and strengthening fan engagement through tangible merchandise. The initiative capitalizes on the massive cultural impact and anticipation surrounding GTA 6, one of the most highly anticipated games in the industry.
