5 October 2026 PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Available to Download Now
Sony has released the October 2026 update for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions, making nine new games available to download. The rollout follows Sony’s regional staggered approach to game availability across its subscription service.
The update brings differences depending on geographic location. Players in the UK, USA, and Japan initially gain access to five of the nine new games, while players in the vast majority of other countries receive the complete selection of all nine additions immediately. This regional variation reflects Sony’s ongoing experimentation with how it distributes PS Plus games globally.
The October refresh is part of Sony’s ongoing commitment to regularly update its subscription service offerings with fresh content. PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers continue to provide access to expanding game libraries, with monthly refreshes adding new titles to keep the service competitive in the subscription gaming market.
