Cyberpunk 2077 Has Just Been Added To Xbox Play Anywhere
CD Projekt Red’s acclaimed action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 has officially been added to the Xbox Play Anywhere program, expanding the platform’s cross-buy library. The addition means that players purchasing Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X|S will now receive a free PC version of the game automatically through their Microsoft account.
The rollout is currently underway, with the Xbox Play Anywhere tag now appearing on Cyberpunk 2077’s Xbox Store listing. The game is also showing as ‘Installable’ on the Xbox PC app, though users may still encounter Cloud Gaming prompts during the transition period.
Xbox Play Anywhere is Microsoft’s cross-platform initiative supporting over 2,000 titles, allowing players to purchase a game once and access it on both console and PC. The addition of Cyberpunk 2077—one of the generation’s most high-profile releases—represents a significant addition to the program’s catalog.
