Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Narrows Release Window Following Player Feedback
Bandai Namco has narrowed the release window for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, the upcoming sequel to the 2016 fighting game. The publisher previously stated the game would launch sometime in 2027, but has now specified it will release in the second half of 2027, tightening the window from 12 months to 6 months.
The more specific timeframe comes following months of community engagement and feedback. Producer Masayuki Hirano stated that the team has continuously shared new information about the game and actively collected player input through surveys. Hirano noted the team is “truly grateful” for the community’s support and that the new release window was determined based on the accumulated feedback and survey results.
Recent announcements included details about the game’s battle customization features and PvE missions, which were shared alongside Hirano’s statement about the narrowed release date. The announcement demonstrates Bandai Namco’s responsiveness to player input during the lead-up to the multiplayer-enabled brawler’s launch.
