Final Fantasy VII Remake is finally coming to Xbox Game Pass in October’s wave

Microsoft has announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2026. The addition is part of the platform’s latest batch of new games and marks a significant moment for Xbox players seeking access to the acclaimed remake.

The game joins other titles being added to the service during the month, including Final Fantasy Resonance, Planets Vs. Zombies: Replanted, and The Séance of Blake Manor. According to Xbox Wire’s announcement, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade stands as the flagship title in this particular Game Pass wave.

The October lineup also includes Sandustry, a Game Preview title arriving on October 21 for PC Game Pass, and Dodo Duckie, available October 22 on Cloud and Xbox Series platforms.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the enhanced version of the 2020 remake, originally launched as a PlayStation exclusive before eventually expanding to other platforms. The Game Pass addition brings the game to a wider audience on Microsoft’s subscription service, making it accessible to Xbox and PC players subscribed to Game Pass tiers.

This announcement demonstrates Microsoft’s continued investment in bringing major third-party titles to Game Pass, offering subscribers expanded access to AAA games alongside niche indie titles.
