GTA 6 Will Feature Lots Of Small Details Like Red Dead’s Dynamic Horse Testicle Physics
Rockstar Games has revealed new details about Grand Theft Auto 6 ahead of its November release. In recent interviews covered by journalist Jason Schreier, Rockstar developer Aaron Garbut confirmed that GTA 6’s roads will be “significantly” narrower than those in Grand Theft Auto 5. This intentional design choice will create denser traffic scenarios throughout the game world, promising more congested and immersive urban environments for players to navigate.
Rockstar is continuing its tradition of intricate physics simulation in the game’s world. Building on the detailed systems featured in Red Dead Redemption 2—including its famously granular animal physics—GTA 6 will incorporate similar small-scale simulations that represent the next evolution of the studio’s environmental detail approach. These meticulous mechanics aim to enhance the overall immersive quality of the open world.
Schreier’s reporting also mentioned that the game experienced challenging developmental years, though the studio appears committed to delivering a highly detailed and technically sophisticated experience. The combination of narrower, densely trafficked roads and advanced physics systems suggests Rockstar has deliberately shifted its world design philosophy from the expansive road networks of its predecessor, prioritizing environmental realism and immersion instead.
