Wizards of the Coast continues its strategic pop-culture partnerships with Magic: The Gathering: Star Trek, the final Magic set of 2026. Launching November 13, the expansion brings the beloved science fiction franchise into the collectible card game, following the successful Marvel Superheroes set released earlier in the year.
The Star Trek set draws from across the franchise’s extensive history, incorporating cards inspired by multiple series eras including The Original Series, Deep Space 9, and Lower Decks. IGN has obtained exclusive previews of seven cards from the upcoming expansion, showcasing the thematic diversity of the crossover.
The revealed cards include Mirror Universe Invasion, Dahar Master, Pure Energy, Tea Earl Grey Hot, Unexplored Territory, Vexing Drone, and Warp Core. Notably, “Tea, Earl Grey, Hot” serves as a direct reference to one of The Next Generation’s most iconic moments, demonstrating the set’s attention to franchise details and fan-favorite elements.
This crossover represents Magic: The Gathering’s continued expansion into established intellectual properties, allowing fans of both the card game and Star Trek to experience their favorite universe in a new gameplay context. The full set becomes available starting November 13, 2026.
