Brandon Sanderson Wants to Know Who Really Wrote the Mr. Beast Book
Brandon Sanderson, author of The Cosmere fantasy series, publicly questioned the authorship of Mr. Beast’s recent book The Most Dangerous Games during an episode of his podcast Intentionally Blank. Sanderson expressed curiosity about the book’s ghostwriter, stating that while he would like them to receive proper credit, he understands why they remain uncredited in the final publication.
Drawing from his recent co-authoring experience on Blightfall, Sanderson discussed his perspective on collaborative writing, distinguishing between ghostwriting arrangements and editorial contributions. His comments highlight ongoing industry discussions about attribution, transparency, and proper recognition for ghostwriters who make significant creative contributions but traditionally receive no public acknowledgment for their work.
