Supernatural’s comeback starts today, with more music and VR workouts coming soon
Supernatural, the popular VR fitness game, is making a comeback after Meta discontinued development. The game has spun off as an independent product and is relaunching through an Early Access preview in the Meta Horizon Store starting today.
The relaunch brings thousands of remastered workouts along with new fitness experiences. The developers have committed to regular content updates, with new workouts scheduled to arrive weekly beginning next week. Additional back-catalog favorites are also set to return as part of the long-term roadmap.
The relaunched version comes with a significant price adjustment, increasing from the previous $9.99 monthly subscription to $20 per month or $200 annually. This represents the first major pricing change since Meta’s initial discontinuation announcement.
The Early Access phase marks an important milestone for the game’s dedicated community, which had advocated for Supernatural’s continuation. The independent release demonstrates the studio’s commitment to supporting the game beyond Meta’s original timeline, though the higher subscription cost reflects the new development model’s funding requirements.
