Blood of Dawnwalker’s Massive Update Is Finally Here and the Full List of Changes Is Wild
Developer Rebel Wolves has released update 1.1 for The Blood of Dawnwalker, a substantial post-release patch that marks the vampire RPG’s first major overhaul since launch. The update, which dropped unexpectedly across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, introduces over 1,100 improvements to the game.
The patch includes several notable additions, including a new difficulty setting to accommodate different player skill levels, improved combat targeting and camera adjustments for better gameplay feel, and the long-awaited ability to pet animals. Players will also gain access to the Draught of Mind Rebirth feature, adding new gameplay mechanics to the experience.
The update is substantial in size, measuring 12.882GB on PlayStation 5. Rather than providing advance notice to the community, Rebel Wolves released the patch without prior announcement this morning, surprising fans who had expected it sometime during the week based on previous developer statements.
This major update demonstrates Rebel Wolves’ commitment to post-launch support for The Blood of Dawnwalker, with the extensive patch addressing community feedback and technical improvements across all platforms simultaneously.
