Cyberpunk 2077 Has Over 50 Mods on PS5, Including New Quests, Improved Romance, Cut Content, and More

With the release of Patch 2.5, Cyberpunk 2077 players on PlayStation 5 now have access to user-created modifications, with 52 mods available at launch. The addition brings console players parity with PC users who have long enjoyed extensive modding communities, allowing for significant gameplay enhancements and content additions.

The modding system mirrors the implementation seen in The Witcher 3 Remastered, offering seamless integration through the game’s main menu. Players can browse and install mods with a single button press, making the process accessible to users without technical expertise. The initial mod collection includes a diverse range of additions, from entirely new quests and improved romance options to previously cut content restored to the game.

This update represents a significant milestone for Cyberpunk 2077’s post-launch support, expanding the game’s replayability and allowing the community to shape their own experience. By opening the platform to mod creators, CD Projekt Red enables players to customize their gameplay experience, breathing new life into the game nearly three years after its troubled launch.
