All Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Boss Locations & Rewards
Modern Warfare 4’s new DMZ mode features multiple enemy types including three main Bosses and Lieutenants that players must hunt down and eliminate. The mode encompasses several gameplay types: Story Missions, Free Roam, Dynamic Ops, and Side Ops, developed by Infinity Ward.
Unlike Lieutenants, the three Bosses in DMZ have non-fixed locations and roam across multiple areas throughout the map, providing a greater challenge to players seeking them out. When players approach a Boss, it becomes visible on their map, but they receive a proximity warning before getting close enough to engage in combat. This mechanic gives players advance notice to prepare for encounters or choose to avoid them.
Defeating these Bosses yields rewards and loot drops for players, encouraging engagement with the mode’s most challenging enemies. The roaming nature of the Bosses combined with the dynamic reward system suggests an emphasis on exploration and combat challenge within the DMZ mode.
