When Does Shipment Come to Modern Warfare 4? Release Date, Explained
Shipment, one of Call of Duty’s most iconic and beloved maps, is making its return to Modern Warfare 4, launching on October 27, 2026. This compact, fast-paced arena will bring back a fan-favorite that has appeared in multiple entries throughout the franchise’s history.
The map has become synonymous with the Call of Duty multiplayer experience, frequently cited alongside other legendary stages when discussing the franchise’s greatest maps. Despite not being originally intended for inclusion in the original Call of Duty 4, Shipment’s addition proved to be a defining moment for the series, establishing itself as a staple the franchise would revisit across multiple generations.
Modern Warfare 4’s decision to include Shipment early in the game’s lifecycle demonstrates the developers’ commitment to blending classic, beloved content with new additions. Rather than waiting for Season 1 content drops, players will have immediate access to the nostalgic map from the October 27 launch, catering to both longtime veterans seeking familiar territory and newer players experiencing this iconic multiplayer arena for the first time.
