Is League of Legends Getting a New DJ Sona Skin After K/DA Collab?
League of Legends fans may be getting a new Sona skin following the release of K/DA’s “Firestarter” EP. The K-pop virtual group’s latest music project features a song called “Girls,” which marks the return of DJ Sona as a featured artist alongside Sophie Power, Sorana, and Royal & The Serpent.
According to leakers, the artwork accompanying the “Girls” track appears to preview an upcoming Sona skin release. While DJ Sona originally launched as an Ultimate Skin in 2015 for 3,250 RP (approximately $25) with three interchangeable musical forms, reports suggest a new K/DA-themed variant is in development.
Leakers from the League of Leaks account claim the new Sona skin will release on November 18, 2026, coinciding with League of Legends Patch 26.23—the second-to-last major update of the year. The timing aligns with the K/DA Firestarter EP release and suggests Riot Games is leveraging the music collaboration to drive skin sales. The K/DA Firestarter collection previously introduced two Mythic-tier skins, establishing a pattern of premium cosmetics tied to the virtual music group’s content releases.
