Aaron Paul Makes Surprise Cameo in DC’s Clayface
Three-time Emmy winner Aaron Paul makes a surprise cameo appearance in DC’s new Clayface, the studio’s first R-rated horror film now in theaters. Paul, best known for Breaking Bad and Westworld, plays Jimmy “One Nut” Hagen, the deceased abusive father of protagonist Matt Hagen (Tom Rhys Harries), in a brief but significant role during the film’s climactic sequence.
The casting was first reported in June by Feature First. Director James Watkins has since revealed the reasoning behind bringing Paul into the production, though specific details remain limited. Paul’s character appears during an intense action sequence set at Gotham City’s Vesuvius nightclub, where the protagonist confronts the gangsters responsible for his disfigurement. Despite the brief nature of the cameo, Paul’s involvement marks a notable addition to DC Studios’ horror-oriented adaptation, leveraging the acclaimed actor’s star power for what amounts to a pivotal flashback scene.
