Dead By Daylight Delistings Continue As Developer Reveals It Must F**k With The Chuck

Behaviour Interactive has announced that Chucky content will be removed from Dead by Daylight starting November 24, 2026. The killer character, nicknamed “The Good Guy,” will no longer be available for purchase, though players who have already bought Chucky and his cosmetic skins will retain permanent access to use them in-game.

Chucky debuted in the asymmetrical horror game in November 2023 and came with three unique perks that will remain available to all players following the delisting. Alternate skins, including a Tiffany version voiced by Jennifer Tilly based on the character from the Chucky franchise, will also remain playable for those who purchased them. Until the November 24 deadline, Behaviour is offering Chucky and related cosmetics at a discount.

The delisting continues a pattern of licensed character removals in Dead by Daylight, following the recent removal of Michael Myers. Licensing agreements with major horror franchises often have expiration dates or renewal costs that developers must navigate. Behaviour Interactive’s decision to preserve access for existing owners while removing the ability for new players to purchase the content represents a common compromise in live-service games dealing with licensing restrictions.
