PSA: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Switch 2 Update Now Live
A substantial patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. The update is approximately 30GB in size, which has drawn attention from the player community due to its scale. While Activision has not released an official statement regarding the patch at the time of reporting, the update is confirmed to be live, and players are actively downloading it.
The sheer size of this patch—30GB—may surprise some players, as it represents a considerable amount of data to download. However, large patches are not uncommon for the Call of Duty franchise, which regularly releases substantial updates as part of its ongoing development and maintenance. These updates typically include bug fixes, balance changes, new content, or other improvements to keep the game current and operational.
Players who intend to continue their Call of Duty sessions on Switch 2 should be aware of the large file size and ensure they have sufficient storage space and adequate internet connectivity before attempting to download the update. Given the patch’s size, the download may take a considerable amount of time depending on connection speeds.
