When Does The Next Fortnite Season Start? Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 5 Release Date
Fortnite Chapter 7 is entering its final stage with the upcoming mini-season launching on November 1, 2026. Epic Games has confirmed that One Piece will headline the seasonal content, bringing a pirate-themed battle pass and cosmetics to the game. While the publisher hasn’t announced an exact launch time, downtime for the seasonal update is expected to begin immediately after Season 4 concludes.
This One Piece collaboration marks another major franchise addition to Fortnite’s extensive roster of crossovers. The one-month mini-season is designed to maintain player engagement before Chapter 8 launches in December. The pirate theme aligns with One Piece’s nautical narrative, suggesting thematic cosmetics tied to the anime and manga franchise.
The seasonal transition represents Epic Games’ continued strategy of leveraging popular intellectual properties to drive engagement in its live-service battle royale. One Piece joins an extensive list of major franchises that have collaborated with Fortnite, demonstrating the game’s position as a cultural platform for cross-media promotion.
