Nintendo Expands Switch Online’s Game Boy Library With Three More Titles
Nintendo continues to expand the Game Boy library available through Switch Online, announcing three additional classic titles that will arrive next week: Avenging Spirit, Mole Mania, and Revenge of the ‘Gator. This latest update follows Nintendo’s recent expansion of the service’s Game Boy Advance offerings, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to making retro titles accessible to modern audiences.
The additions represent part of Nintendo’s broader strategy to enhance Switch Online’s value by steadily growing its retro game catalog. Game Boy titles remain among the most frequently requested additions to the subscription service, making this expansion a notable move for subscribers interested in classic gaming experiences. The move also underscores Nintendo’s ongoing efforts in game preservation, ensuring these older titles remain playable and accessible on current platforms rather than being limited to aging original hardware. This incremental approach to library expansion helps keep the service competitive while introducing new players to Nintendo’s historical catalog.
