Former Halo boss is now in charge of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Digital Games
Dan Ayoub has been promoted to lead Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Digital Games, significantly expanding his responsibilities within the organization. Ayoub, who joined Wizards in 2024, previously served as senior vice president of digital games and now takes on the top leadership role overseeing Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, Duel Masters, and Hasbro Digital Games. He replaces John Hight, who held the position for two years before departing in July.
In his expanded role, Ayoub will oversee several major development initiatives. Among the most notable projects is Exodus, a Mass Effect-inspired science fiction RPG in development at Archetype Entertainment. The leadership promotion signals Hasbro’s confidence in Ayoub’s vision for the digital strategy of its iconic gaming franchises as the company continues to expand its presence in the video game industry.
