New Dimension 20 Season Officially Announced
Dimension 20, the acclaimed actual play series from Dropout, has officially announced its next season: A Starstruck Odyssey season 2, set to premiere in 2027. The announcement reunites fans with the Intrepid Heroes cast for their return to the Starstruck universe.
The original A Starstruck Odyssey, which aired in 2022, was groundbreaking for Dimension 20 as the first campaign set within an established fictional world. The campaign unfolds in the Starstruck universe, derived from a 1980 theatrical play and comic book series—both created by Elaine Lee, the mother of Dimension 20’s creative director Brennan Lee Mulligan.
While the creative team has confirmed the cast for the upcoming season, specific plot details remain under wraps. This announcement comes shortly after the conclusion of Toylight, the previous campaign, demonstrating the show’s sustained popularity within the actual play and tabletop role-playing community. Dimension 20 continues to be one of the most prominent platforms for professional actual play content, and the return to the Starstruck universe signals the creators’ commitment to revisiting beloved established worlds.
