Pokémon Go ‘Halloween 2026 Part 1’ event guide

Pokémon Go’s Halloween 2026 event kicked off on October 27 and runs through November 1, bringing the game’s annual collection of spooky seasonal content to players. The event introduces a new interactive mechanic called “Trick or Treat!” that places discoverable boxes on the ground throughout the game world. Players can tap these boxes to reveal rewards, which include either costumed Pokémon encounters or candy items, adding an engaging collection element to the seasonal celebration.

The event marks the debut of Halloween-themed costumes for two Pokémon species: Zubat and Sinistea, both appearing in new seasonal designs exclusive to this event period. Pikachu receives yet another costume variation, continuing the recurring tradition of offering multiple event-exclusive designs for the franchise’s iconic mascot throughout the year. As with previous Pokémon Go seasonal events, the Halloween Part 1 event includes various gameplay bonuses and rewards to incentivize participation. Additional rewards are available through the game’s Go Pass subscription system, which provides premium benefits during seasonal events.
