CoD: Modern Warfare 4 And Warzone Season 1 Release Date And Details

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 launches November 6, 2026, bringing significant new content to the multiplayer shooter and its companion battle royale Warzone. The inaugural season debuts just two weeks after the game’s October 23 release.

The update includes six new multiplayer maps across the season. Three arrive at launch on November 6: Backstab (a snowy village), Canyon (a desert setting), and Shoot House (a reimagined classic). All are medium-sized maps designed for 6-on-6 gameplay. Three additional maps—Ministry, Overflow, and others—are scheduled for mid-season release.

Season 1 also adds new weapons with cosmetic blueprints, a revamped battle pass featuring cosmetics and seasonal events, and expanded extraction mode content. DMZ receives a new facility map called X01, inspired by the original DMZ’s Building 21, depicting a seized weapons facility in North Korea.

Warzone integration arrives simultaneously, adding two Modern Warfare-themed maps to the battle royale, though full details about the integration remain undisclosed. Season 1 launches November 6 at 12 AM ET, 5 AM GMT, and 9 PM PT on November 5.
