Aurora Enters Valorant with derke and Boo
Aurora Gaming has officially entered the competitive Valorant esports scene with the announcement of its roster ahead of the 2027 VCT season. The esports organization will compete in the VCT 2027 Kickoff Open Qualifiers as part of the newly restructured 2027 circuit.
The roster features several accomplished high-profile players, most notably Finnish duelist Nikita ‘derke’ Sirmitev and Lithuanian support player Ričardas ‘Boo’ Lukaševičius. Derke arrives following his appearance at Valorant Champions 2026, where his previous organization Vitality reached the Grand Final before falling to LOUD 3-1. The player has established himself as one of the most legendary figures in EMEA Valorant history.
Aurora’s complete roster also includes Vitaliy ‘b1sk’ Emelyanov, Egor ‘chiwa’ Stepanyuk, and Nikita ’trexx’ Cherednichenko. The organization’s acquisition of these high-profile players demonstrates a strong commitment to establishing itself as a formidable force in professional Valorant esports.
