Studio Atelico launches Atelico AI Engine into Early Access

Studio Atelico has launched the Atelico AI Engine into Early Access, marking the studio’s second major milestone following its debut game Bobium Brawlers, where the technology was first deployed. The engine represents a shift in AI gaming development by prioritizing on-device processing rather than cloud-dependent solutions, eliminating latency and data center costs.

The Atelico AI Engine supports multiple major game engines including Unity, Unreal Engine, and Godot, offering developers a comprehensive suite of AI capabilities. These include image generation, language model implementation, speech synthesis systems, and AI-driven character behavior creation. The technology can run simultaneously with gameplay without degrading rendering performance, a critical advantage for real-time game development.

Cross-platform compatibility is a key feature, with support for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Linux on both GPU and CPU configurations. This broad platform support reduces barriers to adoption across different development environments and target platforms.

Studio Atelico’s CEO emphasized that the measure of success isn’t raw AI adoption but rather how effectively AI serves the player experience. The Early Access launch invites developers to test and integrate the engine, gathering feedback before wider release and establishing the studio as a key player in AI-assisted game development.
