Everything New In Fortnite Treasure Hunters Mini-Season
Epic Games is launching Fortnite Chapter 7’s mini-season, “Treasure Hunters,” on November 1, replacing the current Battle Royale island with a smaller pirate-themed map. The limited-time event brings a One Piece collaboration, one of the most requested crossovers by the community, featuring characters from the popular manga and anime series including the Straw Hat Pirates.
The mini-season will feature an extensive lineup of music collaborations with A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Hatsune Miku, and Kasane Teto, broadening the crossover appeal beyond the One Piece brand. This marks a departure from Epic’s approach last year, when the Simpsons season dominated the entire November event.
The Treasure Hunters mini-season continues an annual tradition that Epic established in Chapter 4 with the Fortnite OG event, which proved popular enough to warrant making it a recurring November occurrence. The timing is strategic—with Grand Theft Auto VI launching later in November, Epic is deploying major franchise collaborations to maintain player engagement and compete for attention during a competitive period.
Chapter 7 Season 4 will conclude on November 1, followed by a maintenance window starting around 1 a.m. EDT on Sunday. Players will be able to access the new mini-season immediately after maintenance concludes. The pirate-themed gameplay and crossover events position this as a significant content update designed to capitalize on nostalgia and popular intellectual properties.
