HBO’s New Green Lantern Series Officially Gets an Important Update
DC Studios confirmed production details for the upcoming HBO animated series My Adventures with Green Lantern, a spin-off of My Adventures with Superman. The first season will consist of 10 half-hour episodes, matching the episode structure of its parent series. Co-lead Peter Safran told Collider that while the Green Lantern show will explore different themes and introduce a new roster of characters, it will maintain a “tonally similar” approach to the Superman series. The project was first announced in 2025 and received a brief showcase at this year’s Annecy International Animation Festival, though no footage was released publicly at the event. The update represents the first substantial news on the series since its initial announcement.
