MotoGP fans can soon go sim racing with Moza’s new authentic handlebars
Moza Racing has unveiled an officially licensed MotoGP simulator controller featuring authentic motorcycle handlebars, addressing a longstanding gap in gaming peripheral support for motorcycle racing games. While four-wheeled racing simulations have long benefited from specialized wheels, pedals, and extensive accessory ecosystems, motorcycle racing games have historically lacked comparable hardware support.
The new MotoGP-branded handlebars are compatible with existing Moza wheelbases, eliminating the need for a complete new setup purchase. The peripheral was showcased at SimRacing Expo events held in both Charlotte and Frankfurt this year, drawing attention from the competitive sim racing community.
This development signals growing recognition of the motorcycle racing sim category’s potential as a competitive esports segment. Moza Racing, already established in the racing simulation market through its popular racing and truck simulator wheels, is positioning itself to capture demand from MotoGP enthusiasts looking for more authentic gameplay experiences.
The move comes as motorcycle racing games continue to gain traction among esports competitors and casual players alike, suggesting manufacturers are ready to invest in peripheral ecosystems previously dominated by car racing simulations.
