KCorp, LYON, and BLG Secure Final LoL Worlds Knockouts Spots
The League of Legends World Championship 2026 Swiss Stage concluded with eight teams advancing to the knockout rounds. The final day featured several high-stakes regional rivalries, including matchups between LCS and CBLOL squads, Spanish and French LEC competitors, and a rematch of the MSI final between LCK and LPL teams.
Karmine Corp, LYON, and BiliBili Gaming secured the final spots through decisive victories. KCorp’s win was particularly notable as revenge against Movistar KOI, who had defeated them in the LEC Summer Playoffs. Despite a strong early showing at Worlds—including an upset over BLG and a 2-0 Swiss record with clean gameplay—KOI faltered in subsequent matches, losing every best-of-three afterward and failing to reach the knockout stage.
With the Swiss Stage complete, the bracket is now set for the knockout rounds, where the remaining eight teams will compete for the 2026 World Championship title.
