Persona 1 Remake Footage Seemingly Leaks Online
Nearly two minutes of gameplay footage allegedly depicting a modern remake of the original Persona game has surfaced online, marking what could be the first public glimpse of Atlus and Sega’s next entry in their remake pipeline. The footage, which first appeared on Reddit before spreading across social media, shows what appears to be a contemporary version of the classic JRPG, with the original post referencing a “Persona: Be Your True Mind” remake.
While the developers have previously discussed the possibility of remaking early installments in the long-running series, they have never officially confirmed that such a project is in development. This leak potentially represents the first concrete evidence of active work on such a remake. However, significant skepticism surrounds the footage’s authenticity. In an era where AI-generated content has become increasingly sophisticated and difficult to distinguish from genuine material, verifying whether the leaked footage is legitimate remains challenging.
For now, the video serves as an intriguing but unconfirmed glimpse into what a modernized version of the original Persona might look like, pending official confirmation from Atlus or Sega.
