Poll: So, How Many Xbox Mythic Achievements Do You Have So Far?
Xbox has officially introduced Mythic Achievements, bringing the console its answer to PlayStation’s long-established Platinum Trophy system. These special achievements serve as a prestige reward for dedicated players who unlock all base achievements within a game, reaching 100% completion.
The new feature became public earlier this week and has immediately captured attention within the Xbox gaming community. Staff members at Pure Xbox are tracking their progress with the system, with Editor Fraser Gilbert leading with 8 Mythic Achievements already earned across a diverse range of titles including FIFA 14, Rocket League, and multiple Telltale’s The Walking Dead games spanning different console generations.
The introduction of Mythic Achievements represents a significant move for Xbox to establish feature parity with PlayStation’s trophy system, which has been a staple for PlayStation gamers seeking additional recognition beyond standard achievements. This addition provides an extra layer of progression tracking and prestige for Xbox players committed to achieving 100% completion in their favorite games. Pure Xbox is engaging with its community through a poll to gauge how many Mythic Achievements readers have unlocked since the feature’s launch.
