Grand Theft Auto 6 Download Size Revealed To Be 210 GB
Grand Theft Auto 6 will require 210 GB of storage space, making it one of the largest games by base file size ever released. The file size was confirmed by the datamining account PlayStation Game Size and corroborated by gaming outlets. This massive installation footprint reflects the expansive scale of GTA 6’s open world, which is described as packed with activities, side missions, and gameplay systems. The game’s story is reported to be among the most substantial in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, further contributing to the large download requirements.
Preloading is scheduled to begin on November 12, ahead of the game’s full launch. The massive file size is expected to strain networks worldwide during the preload period as millions of players simultaneously download the game. For players with limited storage space or slower internet connections, the 210 GB requirement represents a significant consideration when planning to play GTA 6. This file size underscores the technical ambition of Rockstar Games’ latest entry in the franchise and reflects the growing trend of substantial installations as open-world AAA titles continue to expand in scope and content density.
